Wedding Fit: Legs!

Since I'm getting married in about 5 months, I'm busy planning all the details from what my bridesmaids will wear to being the most fit I've ever been. While the most obvious parts to tone should be my arms and back (because that's what everyone will see when I'm wearing a wedding gown), my primary focus is, and has always been, my lower half. Even if you can't see details when I'm in my wedding dress, it still affects the shape of my dress. I want my butt so perky, its resting on my shoulders. My hips and thighs should not make my bottom half of my dress any wider than necessary. No saddle bags on this pony!
So...I have looked up some videos that I want to try out. I'm uploading them on my blog for 2 reasons:
  1. So I can easily find the video
  2. Being that this blog is about anything pertaining to physical beauty, I think its relevant :) Hopefully at least one of my blog readers find this useful!

If you have any really good (and preferably easy) workout videos or articles, please share!

Makeup for a Tropical Photo Shoot in Miami

About a month ago, I did the makeup for a tropical shoot in Miami's Calle Ocho (8th Street). It was my first time working with Las Celias (photographer) and I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. I love the way these images came out. It really captured the beauty and culture of Calle Ocho with a really creative and funky twist. Check out some of the photos below.

Let me know what you think!

The Makeup Show Orlando

Last weekend was The Makeup Show Orlando. This was my first Makeup Show ever. I might consider going to the New York one next. it had so many great brands like Make Up For Ever, NARS, Stila, Inglot, T3, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics and Mehron. Most of those had huge discounts on all their inventory (NARS not so huge). Here are some highlights from the show...

Booths with shiny new products

Body painting

Keynote speaker Mama Makeup (Sharon Gault)

Who is Mama Makeup? What has Mama Makeup done? Here's a sample.

Hair styling workshop by the very nice and very helpful Bethany Townes (NYC makeup artist)

Some step-and-repeat fun

And finally...
Plenty of shopping to ensure I leave with plenty of guilt!

Have you ever been to a Makeup Show? How was it???
